I have an interview this week for a consultancy. The role will mean being in and out of big corporates so would need to look professional and stylish if I get it.

Even if not I want to sort out my work wardrobe. I live in leggings and jumpers as current office is casual and I've fallen into a rut. Help me please?! I'm going to Oxford Street tomorrow and want to come out with a load of staples. Essentially have no budget but would rather gets a fair few things than spend £££ on each item.

The thing I'm most stuck on is comfortable work trousers for plus size women - M&S seems to think this means jogging bottoms Hmm. Can anyone recommend?

Roman actually have some lovely work stuff in. I buy my work dresses from there and Sainsbury's often have some nice bits in. I'm a size 18 and shop there.

Those trousers look great constanza thanks!

Off to see if there's a boden (other than JL) or evans stockist on Oxford street...

This kind of thing.

I like them because they look effortlessly smart with high heels, a decent handbag, and some basic jewelry.

I'm also a size 18.

Studio 8 are good for dresses and tops.

Monsoon will often have a smart jacket or two and are good for tops too.

Debenhams on Oxford Street has a good range of plus size stuff, they carry Principles which is nice for workwear.
