I have developed oily skin in my 40s, and really need a skincare regime.

Always had very dry skin, but suddenly developed really oily skin, particularly t zone in last few years.
I have a rubbish regime at the minute, I use exfoliator twice a week. I use micellar water to remove make up, and whatever moisturiser I grab in supermarket.
I used to use Origins/Dermalogica,tried Creme de la Mer, lots of highish end brands. But now I havent a clue what I should be using and am afraid of getting a load of sales pitching if I hit the counters.
Any advice for oily skin? Recomendations for a good regime I could try? I feel my skin is looking tired and flat.Definitely needs a boost.
TIA.

i would use this cleanser every morning, followed by this moisturizer and this toner. at night, i would remove my makeup using micellar water and wash my face with the cleanser. all the best x

My skin sounds similar OP. I use Liz Earle hot cloth polish cleanser, it seems to balance my skin out and make it brighter. When I run out and can't always afford to buy again straight away i notice the difference.
