Can anyone recommend make up that is good enough to cover a smallish tattoo made up of lines only (not coloured)

I got one from Mac
I have no idea what it was called but it worked really well

Dermablend- either the concealer stick or the foundation

silver1977 · 02/05/2019 18:45

Estee Lauder camouflage make up.

Fairylea · 02/05/2019 18:46

Dermablend. You can buy it from larger Boots stores.

You can specific tattoo cover up that goes on as a base then you just use your normal foundation that suits your skin tone on top

whyohwhyowhydididoit · 02/05/2019 19:04

Another vote for Dermablend.

Kat Von D? I think it's called Lock It and it's a foundation.

FookMeFookYou · 02/05/2019 19:34

Dermablend, it's been around for years online but I think you can get it in stores now

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 02/05/2019 19:37

Is it really sad that I really want to know what tattoo you're covering up and why? Grin

FlowTeeBowTee · 02/05/2019 19:42

I’ll have a look at dermablend, thanks all
The tattoo is a word and it’s on my arm and I don’t like it. I normally wear sleeves to cover but now the summer is coming I will hope to wear shorter sleeves or no sleeve and I was contemplating covering it up

Sorry, I probably sounded a bit nosy and jovial then Blush It's MN so I expected something like your MIL wanted you to cover up a teeny flower tattoo for your SIL's neighbour's brother's wedding or she'd go NC Grin

I know people who have use the Kat Von D stuff and they say it's great and doesn't rub off onto clothing the way some make up does. I haven't tried it myself but her eyeliner is awesome!

Hope you find something good. Maybe you could get a new tattoo over it as a cover up in the future?

FlowTeeBowTee · 02/05/2019 20:48

Thank you webuilt I will look up a few products mentioned.
Not nosy at all, sorry it wasn’t dramatic enough Grin

If you can be bothered you could colour correct it first then Estée Lauder do waterproof camouflage makeup.

TantricTwist · 02/05/2019 23:08

Dermablend or Kat Von D the latter having been created for just that.
