Need help between these 2 dresses for wedding

Hi all, I have these 2 dresses and I don't which one to use for a wedding I have in August in the afternoon. The wedding will be in the grounds of a manor house. My husband will be the best man. Thanks!!!

I like the red but I’m not sure I would wear it for a wedding
I really don’t like the pink one at all, especially the colour

thanks ladies!! I am more inclined into the red one, I feel that with the pink one my boobs look really big... Blush I don't know which colour the bridesmaids will be wearing, at a wedding I attended last year they were wearing pink, just like my dress here...

I also think the red looks lovely on you. Could you maybe do different shoes? Red would look good but I know people get twitchy about overmatching. Nude perhaps?

I love the red dress ( can I ask where it's from? - I have a wedding next week and am totally unprepared for it! I have no idea what I'll be wearing).

Hi @countrybump, I bought the dress in the Carolina Herrera outlet shop in Madrid, I guess they will have something similar in their outlet shop in Bicester Village.

@Myimaginarycathasfleas , that's also my doubt if wearing those shoes or the nudes I'm wearing with the pink dress...

Thanks @Mhp88 - I'm passing Bicester on Friday and will call in! Unfortunately no time to squeeze in a trip to Madrid before the wedding, although that would be preferable!

It's amazing anyone finds anything to wear to a wedding...so many "rules"! No red, no black, no white (cream, ivory), no same-colour-as-bridesmaids...

Red, (the first dress) hands down. The pink one is not nearly as flattering or occasion-like in comparison.

I prefer the red but it's ever so slightly on the casual side. The pale pink one looks too washed out and office like.

Actually if that’s a Caroline Herrera dress I bet it’s lovely in the flesh so to speak
Could you go with nude/cream accessories to wedding it up a bit?

You have a lovely figure. I would choose the red. The pink is a bit washed out looking.

The red one is best, pink one looks very tight (too small) and uncomfortable and not a flattering length.

I prefer the red on you, but as others have said, I don’t think it’s ‘weddingy’ enough. It looks like a nice summer dress but not smart enough for a wedding.

Don't love either tbh, think both look quite dated BUT

  1. that shade of red is lovely and looks great on you and 2. you have a lovely figure.

I've never heard about the not wearing red to a wedding - is that a thing? As well as black and white I remember being told you shouldn't wear green...

I like both. Initially I thought the pink, but I've changed my mind and now think the red is better. The problem is your shoes and bag really don't go and they're cheapening it.

With that much detail in the dress you need something plain to look chic. Maybe navy? I wouldn't go for nude with red personally, though I know others do.
