For the last two weeks I have washed my, thin, fine and highlighted hair with only conditioner. My looks and feels healthier but I have a beach/pool holiday next month and I was wondering will I need to shampoo chlorine and seawater out or can I still just use conditioner? I don't want to discolour my hair.

I’m no expert, but my understanding is you can use a shampoo as long as you don’t use a conditioner with silicone. It’s the silicone that requires sulfate for removal, so you can just eliminate one, and it’s supposed to be good to do a periodic shampoo to remove build up anyway. I do my own curly girl method and use co-wash followed by silicone free conditioner and my hair gorgeous these days (if I say so myself!)!

I used to do no poo but now do low poo as it was too time consuming. I'm in a facebook group that's really helpful - no poo & low poo hair care group forum. I think when people where asking this sort of question the advice was to wet your hair with soft water before you go in so there is less space to absorb the chlorinated/salt water. I don't use FB much these days so don't remember much but you could always request to join.
