Anyone seen any summer flippy shorts / culottes for 11yo girl?

Dd loves culottes, but I haven’t been able to find any (other than one pair on the Boden website that she rejected due to the pattern - she prefers plain or at least not those colours). Has anyone found any wide leg shorts or knee-length culottes for kids? I’ve looked at POP, H&M, M&S, Boden.

It’s annoying - there are so many short, tight shorts. But dd won’t wear those as she says they’re too tight and she likes to feel free and able to do the splits if she chooses. And she won’t wear ‘boys’ ones as she says she’ll be teased (and tbf, she probably would be).

Sudden I had a look in Primark last weekend, and didn’t see any. Perhaps it wasn’t a big enough store.

youarenot She can’t wear adult sizes - even a 6 swamps her. She’s still wearing quite a lot of age 9-10 stuff.

i just spoke to my sister who's dd is the same, and she said that she bought a pair of these and ironed stars and a few butterfly patches onto the back of the shorts where there isnt a pocket, to 'girlify' them. she also got this belt so that you couldn't see the button on the front. I haven't seen the shorts in person but she says that her dd will wear them now (she didnt show her dd the shorts until after the patches were ironed on)

Have you tried Next?
There are some nice flippy shorts. These are plain navy ones (hope the link works!).

sleep Thanks for all the links, I think dd may say they’re too tight, but I can try.

Pink Those are just the sort of thing, I just need to work out how near the knee they sit. Thanks!
