I am in a major style rut but have to go to a not too formal (church and garden party) wedding mid may and need something flattering that I can dance in

Problem areas: the problem is its all problem areas!
Short as shit (5ft)
Large of bust
Size 14-16
Skin issues (keratosis pilariasis) upper arms and back so dont really want to expose these.
Obviously dont want to wear black but its my signature colour and matches my soul

At this rate Im going to be wearing a burqua with a fascinator or something on top. Any savvy style and beauty aficionados fancy helping me find something else?

Would you consider a jumpsuit? I just bought one from Monsoon and I'm 5'8" and still had to have the legs taken up because it was so long, but it's easy to do! Plus, they're good for dancing in and super comfortable.
What about this? uk.monsoon.co.uk/view/product/uk_catalog/mon_1,mon_1.7/6453110108
Black, but cute :)

Or maybe a tea dress? Works for the ceremony into the evening do and is always flattering. Next have a petite range so I've pulled one from there which should be the right length, but there's plenty more options...

M&S have some jump suits which are cut offs. These can look great with heels. Good jewellery, a lovely bag and you will look great. Navy is fine and I would pair it with cream or silver. Forget a fascinator. Just awful. A decent straw fedora is way smarter. Or a pill box style or one of the oversized Alice Bands that are making a come back.

There are also some great dresses on the M&S website but quite a few don’t have sleeves. I like the polka dot navy one they show with a cream jacket. (M&S Collection)

Thanks so much for the replies and ideas!
I like the look of some of the jumpsuits but am a bit nervous about looking like a tellytubby from the back
and have ordered a few dresses online now, there were some good suggestions
I just cant do the M&S polkadot navy though, its too much like my mum would wear.
Off to check out the shops tomorrow (not in the UK) so bit different selection and might get some ideas out of my usual style

I'm 5ft and try to buy dresses from the petite section, as otherwise the proportions are all wrong. Can you order from the usual UK websites?

Thanks so much for the advice and help
I have managed to try on many things, parcels have been flying in and out of this house. Wandered into town and eventually bought this dress, photo is (obviously) not me
it may be totally unfashionable/awful (I cant tell any more!) but its slimming/flattering, hopefully socially acceptable and covers many of the problem areas from the op

Accessories? I really have a problem with this as I dont do jewellery/handbags etc day to day, and may have to do a rush job shopping at the airport when we fly in for the wedding
any suggestions or comments welcome!
