I'm not sure tbh. Mine aren't super thin but I do like a nice arch. I jsut think it looks more groomed.

they say this every so often dont they

MaryAnnSingleton · 16/07/2007 10:40

I'd give anything to have decent eyebrows - ds has fab ones, obviously not inherited from me - mine are pathetic !

FirenzeandZooey · 16/07/2007 10:41

they can't on mine

they are plucked to fuck and pale blonde to boot

first thing I do every morning is get up and draw them on again

brimfull · 16/07/2007 10:43

only looks good on the young imo

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 16/07/2007 10:43

I like a nice groomed brow.

MyEye · 16/07/2007 10:44

Nah. When I started plucking I was surprised at the improvement in visibility, it was like removing a visor or something
[and I'm no Denis Healy]

ProjectSeverus · 16/07/2007 10:46

god. Must phone and get mine done. Lashes dyed too. Infact there is a vast list of maintenance required.

Kate's dont look too bushy, and Billy Piper and Scarlet look awful with so much make up on.

And no way, mine will stay nicely plucked.

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 16/07/2007 10:50

Billie Piper has always been bushy of brow. Makes her look v masculine.

marymoocow · 16/07/2007 11:02

can i just whisper very quietly that i have never plucked mine . Too much of a coward.

BandofMuggles · 16/07/2007 11:08

I have to pluck mine. They are quite bushy. Think DD's will both need to, DD1's are very bushy. Poor things. I am always jumping at DH with the tweezers when he gets those horrible long ones that stick right out and look like Einstein all freaky and wild.

MrsJohnCusack · 16/07/2007 11:10

absolutely not
plucking my eyebrows has kept me occupied for YEARS of my life in total I should think
I owe it to the general public, I would not look good Au Naturel

MrsSpoon · 16/07/2007 11:11

All of those photos are still of women with groomed brows. I have bushy eyebrows and stand at the mirror a good 15 mins and endure pain to end up with eyebrows similar to theirs. It's not a cue to throw away the tweezers for me.

marymoocow · 16/07/2007 11:15

On my own here then. Or no-one else is brave enough to admit it.

peanutbear · 16/07/2007 11:18

I've never plucked mine either and at the grand old age of 31 I have just started having them waxed

heifer · 16/07/2007 11:35

never plucked mine either marymoocow - so must be a cow thing!...

MrsSpoon · 16/07/2007 11:36

I've only just started doing it regularly recently, last couple of years, I think it's an age thing.

marymoocow · 16/07/2007 11:48

not sure its age thing - i'm 37

Desiderata · 16/07/2007 11:52

I have never, for the life of me, understood why women pencil their eyebrows?? What happens if it rains?

IdrisTheDragon · 16/07/2007 11:52

My eyebrows are naturally very bushy. Probably would help if I occaionally paid them some attention .

IsabelWatchingItRainInMacondo · 16/07/2007 11:54

Mine look like the ones in the photos IF I am having a good day!

LaCerbiatta · 16/07/2007 12:16

I like them groomed and I think it makes a huge difference to how someone looks, but overplucking is not a good look! It's very ageing I think. Like Chanelle from BB (hope this example is allowed in the stlye section ), she definitely over does it.

Pollyanna · 16/07/2007 12:22

Sienna Miller looks scary in that photo.

I have quite thick eyebrows anyway - good to know I am back in fashion , but I agree it is definitely worth getting them shaped - makes a huge difference to your face imo.

MrsSpoon · 16/07/2007 12:37

I'm a little younger than you Mary but perhaps my forehead is heading towards my toes at a greater rate!
