Craving a mandarin/ orange peel scent...

Hello,
That's it really. I'm looking for a mandarin/ orange peel perfume that's not sweet, not too fruity, more like an orange-peel flavoured gin, IYSWIM!
I have come through some tough times and am feeling more positive and want to envelop myself in uplifting smell. :-)
Any bright suggestions? X

Have you ever tried a fragrance containing verbena? It has that same citrusfruits scent but more sophisticated. Esspecially the French seem to be fond of it and it’s used in a great fragrance line by L’Occitane and also by Roger & Gallet. In French its called Verveine.

Perhaps worth to check Wink

Blood Oranges by Shay & Blue - it's mouthwatering zingy orange that slowly mellows into warm vanilla-y wood. Lovely.

Hermes Eau De Merveilles is a warm orange scent. The sharpness of citrus is softened by amber. It’s a beautiful scent.

The last bottle of Lush Karma I bought smelt strongly of orange. I think they've changed the formulation. You'd probably like it....

There's a Lush one, if that's not sacrilage on here. I think it's called What Would Love Do? To my mind it had a fresh zingy quality. Not very 3 dimensional though.

I got a really lovely one in my M&S Beauty Advent Calendar, not this last Christmas but the Christmas before. I can’t remember what it was offhand but maybe someone else knows? I’ll see if I can find it to let you know, later.

@VQ1970 I bet those of who remember it will be really disappointed. It's bound to not smell like we remember it. I always loved it back in the day
