Help me style and beauty, you're my only hope

I've been invited to a 40th party next weekend. It's in a very nice pub. I have no idea what to wear, not casual but not super dressy either.
Was thinking dark jeans, a nice top & my trusty heels but I don't know. I don't have any tops that I think would fit the bill.
Should I maybe think of a dress or something else?
Budget £50-£75
Top / outfit must have a v-neck due to being very busty, skim the mum wine tum and make me look closer to 40 than 50

Ooh I really really like the shape of that top but white is definitely not my colour or black for that matter. Probably should have mentioned that in my post. I'm more of a blue / green / purple kind of girl. Teal is my absolute favourite.

Take a look at Wallis, they have quite a few overlay tops which might fit the bill, I find them very flattering and easy to dress up. Although you stipulated v neck the necks on these tend to scoop a bit and the layering skims the body (I’m fairly busty too)
