how to keep fake tan looking good whilst on holiday? Any waterproof instant bronzer to top up fake tan?

I burn, not tan so have to wear spf50 on holiday.
I start off looking great as I fake tan before I go, but then the chlorine, sand and towelling means my tan fades quickly but also patchily. I do the obvious exfoliating before i app!y before I leave but it still goes patchy - it doesn't when I'm home just doing my usual day to day stuff so I know it's a problem with pool/sea etc.
I usually tan at night but find this impossible on holiday as usually am a bit tipsy so I'm looking for a fake tan that I can apply first thing in the morning and that develops a deep colour after around 2 hours then I could rinse it off before heading for the pool. Any suggestions?
Also if anyone knows of a waterproof instant bronzer for days that I don't have time to fake tan but that could even me out, please let me know.
I'm determined not to be a streaky pale mess this holiday!

Ultra sun do a high factor spf (30 & 50) that is tinted - so you look brown while you tan. I've found it in TKMaxx regularly, and it helps me not to look so pale

Just used coco brown mousse for the first time. Got the normal one but they do a dark and very dark too. Only need to leave on for an hour before showering and it carries on developing.

Had a colour in it when you apply and was lovely to use. No smell. Just showered it off and looks good at minute.

They also do a tan remover in the range to remove the last tan. Superdrug have boy one get second half price at moment

Sunblock breaks it down, instant tan is the only way.

Dha can’t survive chlorine, sunblock, sea water and strong sun.
