Long to short - hairdresser recommendations please!

As the title says, I currently have long hair, about bra strap length and I am seriously toying with going short. I have an undercut at one side and I fancy maybe an "edgy pixie". Some might say I have an edgy style I guess.

Can anyone recommend a hairdresser to do so? I am in Leeds but travel is no issue and there is no budget (though perhaps not thousands!)

You do need to lose a few inches off the ends but I don’t know about a pixie cut!

Your face looks oval so a pixie cut might make you look a bit long in the face. I’m no expert though.

Have you had short hair before?

Do you mind buying/using more products and have the time for styling if need be?

I’ve had short hair once and hated it and hated that I had to spend time styling it or it was just a flat nothing.

Never had short hair before, no! I guess that is part of the curiousity!

Styling I could give a good go and products. Vidal Sasson I am not though so would need to be fairly easy!

I like 43. I think you could carry that off and it wouldn’t be too difficult to style.
