When DH and I bought our first flat we had no furniture! We had a double bed whcih doubled as sofa/table/everything. He worked until after midnight and I got up at 7am, so I would tiptoe around the room getting dressed in teh dark

Halfway to the bus stop, felt a bit, um, free and realised I didn't have a skirt on

Thick black tights and a knee length buttoned up coat saved my blushes, as I rushed home for a skirt
