I have recently discovered Diptyque’s L’Ombre dans L’Eau and it makes me happier than any perfume I’ve ever had before.

Liz Earle no1 for me. Smells exactly like the Laura Ashley perfume I wore as a student in the early 90s! Fresh and lovely.

For summer I'd choose Olympea or Dior Dune dies a lovely summer version.

Clinique Simply...sadly discontinued which I could cry over.

Paul Smith Rose. Dh bought it for me for our wedding day and it is such a lovely, pure rose scent.

I love estee lauder eau de parfum Modern Muse. V floral.

Appreciate it's probably v pedestrian but I like it and have had lots of compliments.

I've just bought the new Givenchy Live Irresistible in Rose Crush. It's very nice and light for summer.

Ralph Lauren Romance is my current favourite. Warm,clean and spicy without being heavy. It’s my evening and winter wrap up warm perfume.

In summer I love the original Carolina Herrera 212. Fresh, white floral with a bit of staying power.

Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois

I spray and spray in dept stores and nothing except that really resonates. Also loved Lancome Hypnose but got bored after about the 10th bottle.

DH keeps buying me Dior Blooming Bouquet which I said I liked once and it's ok but a winter perfume I think

Any ideas?

Daytime I wear Dior Addict (the pink one), SJP Lovely or Estee Lauder Modern Muse.

Evenings/going out - YSL Black Opium, or Tom Ford Black Orchid.
