What to put on blonde hair so not too blonde?

I know I know... it doesn't make sense!
I Box colour my hair every five weeks or so. Got it down to fine art except it looked a bit too blonde in January so had wonderfully stupid idea of going one colour darker... I went orange!
It's gradually faded so got my normal colour and yes I'm back ! But it's v v blonde and I'm unsure whether a toner ( is there still a sachet out there called that ) or a purple shampoo but am terrified it'll go orange again.
Any help gratefully received.

Purple shampoo/conditioner neutralises the yellow/brassy tones, so definitely helps.

It won't turn it orange, but will go to a cooler blonde, platinum blonde colour.

Try the Charles Worthington Colourplex purple shampoo and conditioner available in Boots. Made my brassy orange hair a cool ash blonde. It does stain your fingers, do use gloves.

Oh Ash that's what I'm looking for not yellow !
Thank you

Also, if you need intense toning you can put the shampoo on dry hair like a dye and leave it for a while.

Caffeinplease, can I ask what hair dye you use, I have bleach highlightes which are fading fast and was thinking about going all over blonde

Yes Olia number 9 . Really good colour unless you mess around lol

Purple shampoo to counteract yellow tones and blue shampoo for orange. As pp said, leave for 10 mins then rinse x
