I've just bought a jumper in Bon Marche. Is this the end for me?

It's grey and unexciting but it's really lovely! Lovely shade and soft. Is this is? Do I have to hand in my style badge now?

If there’s going to be an uncool group can I join on basis I have bought shoes from Hotter 🙈 and bought an across body bag from Kipling that is decidedly uncool looking but is like the Tardis and perfect for shoving a massive amount of stuff into whilst still carrying around a small bag. Uncool rools. I bet your new grey sweater is gorgeous.

They do have some nice stuff there but I do find some of their t shirt like tops are a bit 'thick'

Their HQ is local to me, and I know several people who work in fairly senior positions. I am assured that they use some of the same suppliers as Topshop for some items - a particular example was a cotton v neck cardy.

I like their swimming costumes.

I own three dresses and a skirt (that I bought two of cos I liked it so much, so does that make it two skirts?) Anyway... Whenever I wear any of the dresses I get loads of compliments. One is a grey lacy affair. I wore it with combat boots, denim jacket, stripy socks and a spiky dog collar. It works fabulously.

You are so brave to share this with the world. I bought 3 tops and 2 cardigans there before Christmas and haven't told a soul . One particular top gets me compliments every time I wear it!

I buy loads in there. Great for the short fatty I am. Lovely work trousers and some perfectly reasonable tops!

Another short fatty here.... I've bought a small number of things from BM and have managed to find a couple of really nice cotton long sleeve tops that have washed and worn really well....but you do have to be selective!

OP, your BM jumper could be a gateway purchase: next thing could be one of those fleeces with wolves on.
