Please help me find a 50’s wiggle/pencil dress!!!

I’m off to Ladies day at Aintree next week and would really like something different to wear. I have some curves so thought I would dress in 50’s fashion, I therefore want to find a wiggle dress. There are a few out there does anyone have any suggestions for the dress but also accessories.

Oh yes Bombshell looks great - I follow them on Instagram. They’re pretty lux looking.

Another recommendation for Bombshell. They have wiggle dresses as well as fit & flare.

Be careful with sizing if you go for Vivien of Hollywood you will need to go up at least one size often two.

Collectif clothing - wiggle-tastic! All my dresses are from there! Great thick fabric that holds you in, accurate sizing and they often have good sales.

Lindybop. Really good value.

Vivienne of Holloway- sizing is retro so you will be a larger size. Just go with it though as they are amazing dresses.

I’d avoid Lindy bop it’s gone downhill in recent years and used to be my go to.

My advice is wear sensible shoes! The races are a killer on the feet

Oh thank you for all your replies. I want a dress really but thanks for the alternative idea. I’ll keep it in mind. Definitely know what you mean about the shoes, I’ve been before and made the serious mistake of high heels. I need to look for some other shoes once I locate the right outfit. My boyfriend and I haven’t been out for ages and I really want to look my best.

Have a look at irregular choice shoes, they go well with the 50s style.

Ruby Shoo are worth a look for shoes - they do low heels and flats as well as heels.
