I want a luxe skincare treat, what are your recommendations?

I am pretty lax with my skincare routine, I've been using superdrug (vegan) budget friendly products which are nice enough but don't give me that luxe vibe that I'm looking for you - you know, great scent, great texture, great result?

I'd like to get myself something more luxe - not necessarily a whole regime but a product or two to make my morning and / or evening skincare routine feel less like a chore and more like an indulgence.

I've been watching youtube videos, scrolling through feelunique and lookfantastic etc, and have no idea where to start.

So what do you love for a bit of indulgent skincare that makes you look youthful, hydrated, ie not a frazzled late 30's working mum?

Cleansers - Emma Hardie Cleansing balm, the Clarins one with the marula oil, Ormorovicsza cleansing balm
Premoisturiser - Clinique Moisture Surge
Moisturiser - Elemis Superfood or something by Pai
Treatments - Paula's Choice retinol (purple pump bottle), Nude Skincare Firming Youth oil, Estee Lauder advanced night complex serum
Mask - Superfacialist for a mud one and Origins Drink Up Intensive for a cream one

A really good face mask.Google best face masks there will be a fair few listed in different budgets

I love anything by Elemis at the mo (sitting with their hydrogel eye pads on as I type!) my skin is dry so their marine oil is a revelation, I also love the pro collagen cleansing balm, it's so luxurious and removes even the heaviest of make up easily.

Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Thedarklady I love the smell of the EH moringa balm but it apparently has “small traces” of beeswax in it. It’s the only product in their line that isn’t vegan, I wish they would look at The formula again.

Some great other ideas there that off the top of my head I think will be suitable, I will investigate.

I’ve never gotten on with face masks, skin always feels dry afterwards, what am I doing wrong?

hiphopapotamuses thanks for the votes for Elemis, I definitely want something from them!

I came on to recommend Elemis too! I love their stuff, esp the pro collagen marine cream.

I used to spend loads on luxury skins care brands because I loves the feel of the them - the luxury!

I decided to try the Lacura stuff from Aldi after people raved about it.

I think it’s great! I used the hot cloth cleanser, glow tonic, eye gel and the caviar night and day creams. They have the luxury feeling and are pretty cheap.

Thanks for the suggestions, I ended up buying some of the new Origins Plantscription range from Boots when they had their 15% off, enjoying it so far!

@Frankenterfer sorry for dredging this back up but I've just realised if you follow Justine Jenkins on Instagram she does evil/cruelty free recommendations but also a lot of vegan products. Definitely worth a follow.
