Double cleansing - cleaning flannels

Sorry but a boring question - where do you leave your used flannels to dry before washing them?! How do I stop them going smelly after a while?! . I use a new one each night...

I prefer flannels! They retain heat from hot water and I feel like it gives my face a mini steam and helps with makeup/spf removal x
