What to wear with the black Hush Marina skirt?

I bought this skirt at a JL personal shopping session. I thought it would be a good staple, go with lots.

However in realisty I am really struggling with how to wear it! Please send me all your ideas.

I'd like to wear it in a more casual way for weekends, out with my husband, and also in a smart casual work setting too.

I do think it's a good staple! As it's gathered and floaty I think the main thing is not to wear it with other loose, baggy things.

So in winter would look good with tights and boots, a fitted t-shirt or top, short, fitted cardigan, jumper or jacket. Or a fitted coat over it.

In summer (which is when I would wear it) - shortish fitted t-shirt, sandals or trainers, maybe an interesting necklace / bag to contrast with the plain black.

Work - can't help you so much as I don't need formal workwear, but I can see it with a short cardigan style jacket or fitted jumper, but I have no clue about work shoes.

Stripe top / t shirt, logo t shirt, denim jacket and trainers?
Or
Black silk or satin t shirt tucked in black ankle boots and leather jacket
Or
Fitted jumper and boots
Or
Floaty vest tucked in and sandals

I’d struggle to make it a super smart look.
