I have been dying to try Pixi Glow Tonic for ages, but is a bit pricey, Aldi have bought out a dupe today called Healthy Glow, very similar packaging and look, only £3.99 !! Has anyone tried this before?, is it any good, cant wait to find out ( easily pleased me :) )

I just called in to my local Aldi and purchased the hot cloth cleanser. I ummed and ah'd over the pixie dupe but I've not used the original. I have to quite sensitive skin would it be ok? Also they had the glycolic exfoliating pads, are these a dupe of the nip and fab ones? Are they also suitable for sensitive skin? If so going back tomorrow to stock up 😂

I bought the miracle cream and the glow on Saturday and have already been back to buy more before they run out. Love both!

VanGogh we refer to the knock-off ice cream as Ken & Terry’s Grin

@Nottsangel2015 I actually prefer the aldi glycolic pads to Nip and Fab! I have rosacea and they helped it when I had them before

Nottsangel2015 · 11/03/2019 20:00

Thanks @pangolina 😊
Definitely going back tomorrow now!

I ordered 3 of the hot cloth cleanser online yesterday and one of the midnight secret eye cream as I am just eking out the last of my Clinique All about Eyes. No Glow tonic available online sadly, otherwise I would have repurchased.

DH doing the Aldi shop on the way home as he finishes early on Friday so he has strict instructions to get me another 2 of the Glow tonic if they've got any in (and possibly another cleanser).

KaliforniaDreamz · 12/03/2019 11:06

ok i tried the Nip tuck dupe pads and i have no idea what they are supposed to do to me. i admit i already have really good skin (which i do not really look after am just very very lucky) but i could see no visible diff after usng the pad. but am i expecting a miracle???

Nottsangel2015 · 12/03/2019 17:43

Maybe takes a while to notice a difference @KaliforniaDreamz

I tried the hot cloth cleanser last night and whilst no visible difference and I haven't used the liz Earle to compare but it did make my skin feel better after. I'm a bit impressed for the price :-) going to grab another.

Wanted to go back in to Aldi at lunch to pick up the pads and tonic but it rained the whole time so didn't leave work as it's a 10 min walk away and couldn't be bothered to get soaked! Hoping to get back in tomorrow lunch :-)

KaliforniaDreamz · 12/03/2019 21:28

I did a large wine order today Grin

vapourtrail · 12/03/2019 22:05

I got some, and have been wanting to try it for ages so was really pleased! I. Not sure how to use it though, I normally just clean my face with a micellar cleanser and then put on night cream, so is this instead of the cleanser or after? Thanks!

MakeMineALarge1 · 13/03/2019 12:47

I bought some of this, I love it, prefer it to the Pixie one as it doesn't feel as astringent, I also got some of the miracle cream (EA 8 hour dupe) I really like that as well.

I want some of the beauty flash balm as well, but they didn't have that in stock

Bringbackthestripes · 14/03/2019 18:15

Loving the Healthy glow- I picked some up yesterday after seeing this thread. They didn’t have any of the beautifying daily balm but I grabbed a miracle cream and love that so will pop back to buy more tomorrow to stock up. I will keep my eye out for the beautifying balm.
