Hoping you style gurus can help me with this one. DP and I got engaged last week - plan is for a big wedding next year in his home country. White dress etc will happen then.
In the meantime, we are moving overseas to a completely different country in a few weeks. Now we are engaged we have discussed it and decided we want to get married legally here before we go as (1) let's face it the move is probably a bigger life commitment and (2) it'll make things like next of kin, life insurance, medical insurance etc much much easier if we are married.
So we are doing it in London in April. We aren't telling anyone so we don't detract from the (expensive) family wedding next year so it'll just be us, two witnesses and the ceremony followed by dinner and drinks.
I don't want to wear white or a proper wedding dress as I will do all that properly next year... but I want to look special. I'm 5 ft 4 and a size 10-12. Any ideas?
