FInally found a dress, how would you rate the quality of Oliver Bonas?

I’ve been searching for a midi dress for ages. I posted a while back about everything making me look very frumpy but this dress looks great on.

Ive never bought from Oliver Bonas before.

So many things seem to shrink after the first wash!

Mmm... I buy quite abit from there but can’t say I get loads of wear from it. I have taken back things that have shrunk before.

I find the dresses a bit short for me (I’m 5”7) and have only had a problem with a pleated skirt that shrunk/straightened out when I washed it.

I think Oliver Bonas quality is good.

Half my wardrobe is from there, I love it. Never had a problem with quality before :)

I like a lot of their stuff, but find it expensive for the quality, and sizing huge. My friend bought a top at Christmas which was doll-size after washing, and had no problem returning it.

Have never had an issue with quality from there - better than a lot of high street places.

I’ve never had any problems with quality or shrinkage and have quite a few things from OB.

I was in yesterday and the midi dresses are lovely. I find all their dresses are no good if you have big boobs which is such a shame as the wrap over style is perfect

Considering it's mostly made in China etc and most fabrics are manmade not natural then I find it really expensive for what it is. They used to sell Vila, Vero Moda etc there and I did get good bargains in the sale.

Also I bought a top there ages ago and the hem came down really quickly - in about 2 weeks - I took it back as I didn't have time to sew it (and didn't see why I should!) and they refunded me.

Having said that I have bought a jacket recently in their sale (saw it on a colleague) as I had a gift card from MIL from there as part of my Christmas present. A very wearable light spring/summer jacket.

Quality excellent and true to size for me.

Like a previous poster, I need to get a size smaller (and sometimes two sizes down) from my usual size. The quality is fine, they use considerably more material than places like Other Stories (though in fairness the quality of OS is shit).

Miles better than you'd think. I got a midi dress for Xmas, loved it, boiled it by mistake. Twice. Came up smiling, as new.

Couple of bits of silver jewellery have died fairly fast but that may well be because the designs are delicate and I am not.
