I'm not good at dressing like a girl... How would you accessorise this dress?!

I've bought this dress to wear to a wedding at the beginning of June. Would creamy coloured scarf/shawl, bag and shoes look ok? Or would you pick a different colour? It's a bit more green that it looks in the picture... would you get a poofy petticoat to wear under it to give it a bit more shape or would that look like fancy dress?

Sorry, I'm panicking, which is so silly but I've not worn a dress for years ages. Or anything coloured. That's not me in the picture btw, that's a much thinner person, I'm a 24!

I would wear a pouffy petticoat for sure.
Cream bag shoes and I would get a pashmina too cos my upper arms are a bit wibbly wobbly.

I'll find a link for petti.

Is that you in the second picture, OP? You're gorgeous! I think a cream pashmina would work well, or possibly one to match the colour of some of the flowers on the dress.

Lady V is where I got my emerald petti but they've only got white atm.

Oh bless your compliment but that's definitely not me! I'm twice that lady in size and possibly age as well!
