Low top comfortable trendy shoe/trainer pref no laces for teen boy

I am looking for my son's spring shoes which he'll wear with absolutely everything, i.e. shorts and trousers, casual and semi-smart (if such a thing is possible for him (). I know I could ask him but he'll just grunt that he doesn't care. I like to see him looking reasonably groomed but he needs to be comfortable. He's size 9.5 maybe 10; would rather avoid black. Suggestions gratefully received.

Send him shopping with whatever budget you’ve agreed and let him choose.

You’ll get so many different views on here about what constitutes a “trendy” trainer and it’s likely he won’t like any of them.

If he says he doesn’t want to choose his own footwear, don’t buy him any.

Thanks FamilyOfAliens but that won't work for me or my teen . He'd rather poke his own eye with a fork than go shopping.

So back to my request, can anyone suggest brands I could try, I usually buy from online shops that offer free delivery & free returns so he can try at home.
