A pink/heathery/mauve-y long lasting lipstick with a bit of a sheen

I am looking for an everyday lipstick but struggling to find the right shade and consistency. Going to beauty counters simply doesn't help, I always get flustered and after I've tried one or two and rub them off, my lips are so red nothing looks right. Plus they always say they're long lasting when they're not (I am looking at you Bobby Brown).

Any suggestions?

Mac Mehr is this sort of colour and lasts ages on me, its matte though (but you could put balm on top?). It's probably my most used lipstick.

I've just bought Mac Brave and it is as you describe. Pinky but not too pink with a nice sheen but not too glossy

In fact when I image searched Mac Mehr to nosy at it, there are a few pics comparing Mehr with Brave! Another shade that features in these comparisons is Twig - I have this one in a little mini from ASOS (£10 - I added it to my order to get free delivery!) I'd say Twig is a little browner and more Matt, but it's a really good everyday colour too.

Mac Mehr is my favourite but it’s matte so no sheen. I also love Mac Faux and that has a sheen.

I wear Mace Mehr too, it's brilliant, if you don't get on with it. Take it back and get a refund
