Do you think these Jimmy Choos look genuine?

I know it might be hard to tell by looking but wondered if anyone who owns genuine ones think that there’s anything obvious that makes them look fake? The label for example? They’re on eBay as second hand and not cheap but obviously a lot cheaper than new. Thanks!

Thanks, I’ve emailed the seller to ask them to take a picture of the box showing the barcode, name of the shoe style and price. I’ll ask for a picture of the underside of the shoe as well. Does it look like the ‘Choo’ on the box looks weirdly blurred out? Also if you get sent a fake on eBay do you know if they refund you if you open a claim?

They have to, otherwise they’re supporting the sale of fakes.

They also can’t make you post them back (it’s illegal to post fakes back)

GinisLife · 13/02/2019 17:02

You can buy mine if you decide these are fakes. They're definitely real and they've never been worn - and I have a red pair as well that have been worn twice. I was too overweight and my centre of balance had shifted so could never wear them 😰😰

bellsbuss · 13/02/2019 17:05

The only thing what's making me think they are fake is how wide they are. I have 5 pairs and have tried on lots and they are usually very narrow, i could be wrong though, nothing else it jumping out at me.

Bussells · 13/02/2019 17:27

Thanks all that’s useful. @GinisLife if yours are on eBay I’ll take a look! I’m a 5 (or 5.5 would be ok)

I say they're real. But you need a pic of the sole to make sure.

IRL the best way to check after the labels etc is to wobble them with a finger - they're so well made you can practically kick them and they won't overbalance.

Bussells · 13/02/2019 17:33

That’s a good tip, thanks! I guess worst case scenario if they’re fake I get a refund and keep the shoes (obviously wouldn’t try to sell them)

I see what you mean about the weird blurring on the box... hmm.

Wakk · 13/02/2019 21:39

The box looks well fishy to me.

Bussells · 13/02/2019 21:41

@Wakk yes and also genuine boxes are pink/lilac and that just looks off white to me? Could be the light I guess. But the way the writing disappears is weird.

Very odd there is no picture of the sole.

toastonbean · 13/02/2019 21:51

Are they a recognised Choo style?

Poppylicious1 · 14/02/2019 01:47

Ask for photos inside the box aswell, as there should be the dust bag and Jimmy Choo tissue paper.

BusterGonad · 14/02/2019 02:55

I wouldn't bother Op, you'll only regret it if they're fake and you have to go through all the hassle of getting a refund. If they weren't fake all the pictures needed would be on the original listing.

GinisLife · 19/02/2019 15:31

@Bussells mine are too big for you as I'm a 7. I have cream JC boxes.
