there aren't any!!

I know I love cotton nighties too and have given up and splashed out on boden

white company do them too but similarly expensive

its something to do with fire regulations - nighties float around so could potentially catch fire

thats why they are all either polyster or treated cotton (boden - they smell until you wash them)

I have actually bought a pattern and am going to make some!

chevre · 04/07/2007 10:57

oooh! thats dedication to the cause! i luckily inherited a couple of nighties from a friends little girl but need to stock up as it is now nighties all the way.

i have a horrible feeling dd would be delighted with a lurid pink cinderella affair.

where do you buy your pattern's?

fabric shop near me has a huge range

can I just say i havent actually DONE it yet

my dds are mroe than happy with vile polyesters ones if they were allowed

the other thing I have done is bought summer dresses that could be nighties and they wear those - ie bhs did some long, stripy vest type dresses last summer - 100% cotton and they make really cute nighties
