Do you prefer Botox after it’s worn off a bit? Also can you always tell a Botox face?

I prefer my Botox after about 5/6 weeks when it’s started to wear off a little.

I’m always super insistent that they are very light with the amount they give and I only ever get the one area, between the eyes. Is this common way to feel? Obviously talking to people who get Botox!

Also can you always tell when someone has had Botox? I’m definitely the only person in my workspace who has had it! I do feel a bit paranoid and like I stand out a little! Is this me being paranoid? I can still see wrinkles in my forehead, just not between my brows.

If you only get a small amount in one place I probably wouldn’t spot it. But people who have a lot and end up with swollen shiny forehead and eyebrows that get pulled upwards- I notice. Often they go mad with fillers too.

I can't always tell if someone has botox from looking a photo but I think it's pretty easy to tell when you're face to face with someone.

I get baby Botox in my forehead, 11s, and crows feet (so 3 areas). I'm still young(ish) so no need for full Botox just yet.

And yes I can absolutely always tell when someone has had Botox!!

Also I know for certain that once the between the eyebrows Botox no longer cut it, I definitely won't be moving on to a full face of Botox. Have no interest in fillers or other type of 'work.'

Am I going to wake up one day and just look ancient?! And no there is nothing wrong with looking old, without Botox I just look cross. But I do think it's definitely obvious I get it and for some reason I feel embarrassed 😳

Yes it's really obvious. The smoothness gives it away.

I have quite a lot. Forehead and between brows, and no, it's not obvious

Intothedenofvipers · 08/02/2019 23:10

Yes, if people have had lots then it’s obvious. A shiny smooth head gives it away. Smooth upper face and jowly lower face gives it away.
However, there are friends of mine who I think may have had Botox but I can’t be 100% sure. I also suspect it’s used more than people imagine!
Yes, I find half way from having Botox and getting it again to be the sweet spot. Me but better, and I always try and have some movement.
