Bra Size Experts needed urgently please!

I am going to the Rigby and Pellar sale tomorow. I was measured there a couple of weeks ago at a 38E. I am starting Weight Watchers tomorow and want to buy some bras in the next size down while the sale is on. So, I want to get a 36 (in the same brand as what I have so I know the sizing is consistant) but I don't know what cup szie to get. Do I get an E, or go down to a D.

Does anyone know????

you are going to the top bra shop in the known universe - ask them!

(Nb is more likely you'll go up a cup size if you lose weight off your ribcage but not off your norks)

this could be an expensive mistake even if there is a sale on

I don't think you will be Able to buy bras for when you lose weight. As you really don't know what willl ha[pen/ Just buy pne for now and go back when you feel you need to.

id get a 36F

Rigby and Pellar got terrible reviews recently - apparently they have been 'rumbled' that they survive on reputation alone

Bravissimo is far far far better (for advice and sizing, others like Rigby possibly have better choice)

i agree, buy what fits you now & go again when you've lost weight (bravissimo is cheaper than r&p).

i lost 2 3/4 stone over the past year. i went from a 34 dd/34 d to a 30 d. basically the boob 'radius' stayed the same, my back shrank.

now for the sad bit. despite having the same cup size they are deflated so there tends to be alot of flappage at teh top if i get the wrong bra.

basically i don't think you can slim into bra's. get a couple of nice bra's that fit you now (on the very outside hook) and then get refitted when you lose weight. good luck.

and bizarrely even though I was this weight a few years ago I couldn't get into my old bras

turns out I was a cup size bigger which makes no sense but there you go

I agree you need to buy for now. And plan another trip - or one to Bravissimo - at January sale time.

I lost 2.5 stone at the end of last year and went from 38 to 36 without changing cup size at all.

bloody bras! i have been every size known to mankind and some i didn't even know existed.

We should organise a bra swap. I too have bras is about 6 different sizes sitting in my drawers (so to speak).
Am off to Bravissimo for measuring in a couple of weeks - everyone says they're fab! Can't be worse than John Lewis, that's for sure!

MOst definitely go to bravissimo. If i go to debenhams or marks and spencer i am told i am a 36F or 34E. then after i buy the wrong bra i discover my boobs are falling out and the back is too big. At bravissimo i am a 32 GG and the bras fit perfectly.
