Please help me figure out what to wear to my child's christening!

I haven't bought anything new or nice since I was pregnant (he's seven months now) and am feeling quite lost! I want something nice - preferably a dress, but open to being persuaded into other options - to wear to his baptism. It's in three weeks so will probably be cold. At our church they do the baptisms in a normal service, not a private one, so I want to be a bit dressy but will look ridiculous if too formal as there will be a congregation wearing jeans and sweatshirt (like I do normally!). I hover between a size 12 and 14, I used to be very pear-shaped but since having DS I've lost my bum and gained a tummy - still big hips and little boobs. Budget of max £150, but would prefer to stay under £100 if possible.

Thank you!

Do you generally wear trousers or dresses? If it were me, I’d wear a knitted or jersey dress of some sort with knee high boots but you could also wear smart trousers and jumper.

This sort of dress.

Trousers
jumper

Maybe a scarf if your church isn’t v warm

I’d definitely pick things that you’ll wear again though

Thank you! I'd like to look a bit special but not over dressy, if that makes sense? There will be people there that I haven't seen since having DS and, very vainly, I want them not to be thinking 'christ, look at the state of her since having a baby!'. I'm really struggling with how to dress myself nicely because my body is quite different to pre-DS
