Roughly size 18 with a massive arse so where does good ones? I go to Tesco and Sainsbury's regularly if theirs are any good?

Marks and Spencers every time...

themagicamulet · 23/01/2019 13:17

primark are better than M and S for tights imo

Somewhereovertheroad · 23/01/2019 13:20

Boots 70 denier wash and wear well

ClattyCooMin · 23/01/2019 13:36

ASOS curve

tootstastic · 23/01/2019 13:44

M&S autograph are the best I've tried.

CatToddlerUprising · 23/01/2019 13:44

Primark are great. Am also an 18 with a big bum! I get the XL size. They wash well too

MayFayner · 23/01/2019 14:32

M&S velvet something. Best ever.

Go online, order from Snag tights - UK based, free postage, so comfortable and stay up all day.
I buy their F size, I'm 5'8" and size 20/22.
Check out their sizing grid and just see what they recommend for your height and weight.
Many colours available too and a few different deniers.

IAmRubbishAtDIY · 23/01/2019 16:25

Oh so many choices! Thank you so much everyone!

M&S autograph velvet tights are great but be wary of sizing. Bought a pair last week, every single stitch of clothing I was wearing was a size 16 so chose the tights size based on size 16 and my height.... they’re HUGE! I can easily pull them up over my bust and the arse is still saggy. Major Nora Batties going on too. A bit pissed off cus I’ve worn them so can’t return and they’re not cheap.

MikeUniformMike · 23/01/2019 17:34

Primark is great but check the size carefully.
I don't think they let you return them so don't buy lots until you have tried a pair.

TheClitterati · 23/01/2019 19:11

Snag tights - much better than M&S for those blessed in the bottom department.

Bought some Next tights recently. They're good

MrsSchadenfreude · 23/01/2019 20:27

Boots 30 or 70 denier, or their light support ones are long lasting and stay up!

SauvignonBlanche · 23/01/2019 20:34

I’d recommend Snag too.

frugalkitty · 23/01/2019 21:50

I buy DD black tights for school in Primark, three pairs for £3 and they wash and wear really well. Can't help with sizing though as she's only 13, I think she has small (5'3 and size 10 ish). They do a few different deniers too.

MrsFionaCharming · 23/01/2019 21:50

I find Primark tights too low rise, so they slip down every time you bend over, plus the elastic gives me a muffin top.

Tesco all the way for me.

PickleSarnie · 23/01/2019 21:52

M&S bodyshaper ones are one of the few that stay up that I've found. I also like Hush ones. They're really matt which a lot aren't.
