Absolutely love the shoes and have an embarrassing number of them. Have never had any luck with the clothes - look gorgeous on the hanger and rubbish on me. Have come to the conclusion that LK herself must be curvey (opposite of me) as everything seems to be designed for the well endowed and I look like a scarecrow in EVERYTHING.

hoxtonchick · 01/07/2007 20:43

i have some lk bennett boots, bought at great discount in last year's sale.

nomdeplume · 01/07/2007 20:49

I really like the ridiculous Heloise platform ones (now £149), stupendously high and would prob make me look/walk like a drunk giraffe. Ho hum.

Callmemadam · 01/07/2007 21:57

Gingermonkey - have just bought two silk chiffon dresses one purple and one scarlet as they made me look fantastic which is a neat trick these days but agree that being curvy helps

hoxtonchick · 01/07/2007 22:39

just bought 2 dresses & a top.... . but do i get points for no shoes?

hoxtonchick · 01/07/2007 22:39

(ps partly your fault callmemadam, as i am curvy too :0).

So it would appear that everyone that shops at LK Bennett is on here then? I am glad people do shop there, I was worrying about them

skirmish · 02/07/2007 08:12

go to the outlet store - better discounts. have never paid more than £40 for a pair of shoes there!

Callmemadam · 02/07/2007 23:42

hoxtonchick - you go, girl! Seems we are a select club if Gingermonkey is correct . Anyway, what did you buy?

hoxtonchick · 03/07/2007 10:25

this, this and this. not dispatched yet....

Gingermonkey · 03/07/2007 10:28

nice, nice and nice.

hoxtonchick · 03/07/2007 10:40

phew!

frogs · 03/07/2007 10:59

Hc, you are baaaad.

I have just clicked on those links, put three lovely things in my basket, totalling £227.00. And then I closed the window, and walked away. But oh, I want some new clothes so much. And so can't justify atm (well, you've seen the state of our house, lol). And now I hate you.

hoxtonchick · 03/07/2007 11:01

oh go on frogs, you know you want to....... it's quite surprisingly nice stuff isn't it! you can just live with the swirly carpets for a little bit longer .

frogs · 03/07/2007 11:06

No, I really can't. Our toaster died at the weekend, and dh and I spend a couple of hours surfing the net for good deals on the big Dualit 4-slice one with the little baskets for toasties. And then went to Argos yesterday and got a Russell Hobbs for £34.99 -- 4-slice, though, to keep the froglets in marmalade at breakfast.

Sob. May have to take a little trip to TK Maxx and see if I can pick up some more Betty Jackson trousers for £20 a pop. [ hopeful smile]

Gingermonkey · 03/07/2007 11:10

I admit to have never looking at the clothes before and they are really nice - not trendy, trendy or too mumsy and they look like they are well made (from the pics, I know I can't really tell!). I like!

hoxtonchick · 03/07/2007 11:35

i will come to tk maxx with you & source amazing bargains (last time i took ds & got stuck in the toys ) .

It's a deal, hc. Will fix a time on Friday.

Btw was it your dd who has my dd2's H&M cropped pedalpushers? Was looking for them, then dimly remembered lending them to someone. [vacant emoticon]

hoxtonchick · 03/07/2007 13:50

yes, they are ready to come back to you. btw, dd is wearing some cast of trousers of your dd2 today & was bouncing around shouting "i wear xxx's trousers" .

frogs · 03/07/2007 13:56
Smile
bundle · 03/07/2007 14:02
