A few years ago I developed hormonal acne which came back last year but got a lot better when GP put me on POP pill on top of Nexplanon. Before Xmas my skin started playing up again and I used LRP Effaclar Duo which cleared it up nicely but the last couple of weeks I've had a few cystic spots on my neck and the skin around mouth and nose has been red with what seems like lots of small spots and psoriasis has appeared on my cheeks and at the outer edge of my eyes. I tried switching to LRP Toleriane day and night but it's just made the spots worse. Is there anything I can buy to help calm my skin down?

I’m surprised Toleriane has made it worse - it’s my fall-back for when all else fails, as it’s so bland! Can you get back to your GP ASAP?

Try using Savlon. I know it’s not an acne treatment but works wonders for calming inflammation.

The child's farm moisturiser might give some relief, it's very gentle.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

I'm surprised Toleriane had that effect as before it's always been calming. Going to try and get appointment with GP this week
