Shoe storage, where do you keep every day shoes for you DH and the kids ?

We have trainers and school schools all over the house it's starting to get me down

some shoes are at the bottom of the wardrobes

other shoes, like trainers, boots, muddy football boots, are on an Ikea shoe thing downstairs

shoe rack in hall for 2 pairs each
rest in my walk in wardrobe

shoe racks in the porch/hall

don't give 'em the chance to get further into the house

shoe rack under coat rail in the corner of the kitchen - no hall in our house. Rule is shoes off and on rack when you come in. THe sometimes comply!!

In their wardrobes or in the Utility room if mucky. Once cleaned back to the wardrobes.

Ours have been kept in the hallway for a while, but I'm sick of tripping over them so I think I'm going to put them in the bedrooms. Might get one of these for our bedroom.

A girl i once knew had shoe boxes and took a pic of each pair of shoes and stuck it on the front... She did own about 200 pairs though!!!! And i suppose you would have to have the storage for the boxes aswell...

Have just had a look on Ikea and can't see the one we've got (it's just a rack really) - it's a bit hard to find what you want on that site!

In the wardrobes they are in racks

Shoe rack in the front hall for school/work shoes. Pile in back hall for wellies/mucky shoes. Fancy shoes in wardrobe.
