Tall teenage boy sports clothes

Ds is 1.98cm tall (?6ft 5) and I’m really struggling to find trackie bottoms for him or joggy bottoms that are long enough (he needs a 36” inside leg) and aren’t super skinny (he’d look ridiculous).

Surely he can’t be the only tall boy in need of sports clothes?!?

ASOS tall is worth a look.

ComeOnGordon · 17/01/2019 06:16

I tried there but they were all skinny fit & we won’t wear skinny anything

Have you tried 2tall.com? They do excellent basics for v tall young men.

Fozzleyplum · 17/01/2019 06:24

We use ASOS tall range.

Gap is good for long inside legs. I'm not sure if they do sports wear but they probably do leisure wear.

MikeUniformMike · 17/01/2019 10:50

Their web sight wasn't helpful. Would High and Mighty have anything?

ComeOnGordon · 17/01/2019 14:49

Thanks for the replies - 2tall (hate how negative that website name is) have got a decent selection but they want 10€ delivery cause we’re not in the UK.
Yip Gap’s website is rubbish and they don’t do sportswear in their tall shop.
Was really excited about high and mighty - on the track pants page they had a great selection. I’m slowly working my way thro them but it seems to be easier to buy track pants if you’re very wide! All regular length but in a range of XL waists Angry.

What annoys me is lots of sports players are very tall - where are they getting their sport clothes from?!?

Yes I hear you about tall meaning wide, that's why we find 2tall so good, they are normal sizes just the right length.

My son is slim and 6'5" too. I found clothes from surfer type brands especially O'Neil fit him really well. I get them in the sales and from TKMaxx.
Also Primark 34" leg jeans fit him (but he does wear them low on the hips almost defying gravity!) He has long arms and torso too, so a lot of tops are too short and look daft.
Some of the outdoor makes fit him well too. We used to go to a big outdoor shop and try loads on. It was hit and miss though as we couldn't find one consistant brand.

They're getting them from their sponsors.

Is this any use:

I'm not tall but have friends and acquaintances who are over 6'. One is 6'7" and shops at High & Mighty.
I would try ebay, boohoo, and so on and look for 'inside leg 36'

That’s a great link - there’s lots of choice out there although I haven’t had trouble getting him jeans. Will keep 2tall in mind for when he needs other clothes (which seems like often).

I’m also a lover of TK Maxx - but you have to be in luck don’t you. I got him some great knee length adidas shorts there a while ago & they’re his favourite ones to wear for training sessions.

After many phone calls to different customer service places I’ve bought 2 pairs in different sizes from Jako - really hope they fit.
