Help! stylish but splendid outfit for wedding.

Got to get something to wear to a wedding in August. Have trawled round the highstreet but am stuck. Need some online assistance.
Thinking a dress or skirt/top. Something not too formal, but something with sleeves below elbows as I have issues with my shoulders! Knee length plus. Reds/rust/mid to dark greens/browns. But want something lovely. Any ideas?
Is a skirt+top too casual for a wedding?

Hmm unfortunately the Coast colour would make me look like a corpse after 2 drinks.

Am too embarrassed to go into Phase 8. Tried on a dress there last week and got (literally) stuck in it. Assistant had to help me out of it. oh the shame. Mind you it was a size too small.

M&S have loads of wide leg linen trousers atm.
