Is the Babyliss big hair supposed to slow turn once you put it in your hair?

Brand new styler. At various points when my hair is in the styler the turning motion slows down almost to a stop, if I lessen the tension it starts turning quickly again.

They didn’t use to be like this. Am I doing it wrong?

I had the same problem. Had an old one, it would spin easily in my hair, the new one seemed to not have the power. Am in the process of returning it.

Are you going to get a replacement to see if it was just a bad one?

I bought one last week and mine does this. There seems to be insufficient power at times. I have fine hair too so there is never that much hair in it.

Yes, my hair is really soft and fine too! It should spin through my hair as easy as anything!

I think I’m going to have to send it back. How frustrating.

Maybe the newer one is weaker, as my hair is fine and thin and my original spins.

I think they must have changed the motor as I had an old one that was amazing and I bought a new one this week and it only has about half the power. So disappointing.
