Sounds fine, have a good time

RTKangaMummy · 29/06/2007 15:13

Thanks

I was rather unsure when it has now turned sunny whereas this morning it was dark and raining

It could still rain, and it is bright but v breezy here in Lancashire, so sounds great to me.

RTKangaMummy · 29/06/2007 15:20

If it rains everyone will be going into the house

The thing is as it is in the garden you have to consider the distant look of an outfit as well as the close up look of it.

Cos people will be looking from across the garden at you iyswim.

Thanks

RTKangaMummy · 29/06/2007 15:22

OP posts:
nailpolish · 29/06/2007 15:23

surely you have something else

RTKangaMummy · 29/06/2007 15:27

No not really cos I have lost weight so last summer stuff doesn't fit

Most of my time is in really casual clothes ie Tshirts

OP posts:
nailpolish · 29/06/2007 15:30

RTKangaMummy · 29/06/2007 15:31

The courier was supposed to be delivering a few days ago, then yesterday then today but it hasn't arrived

The overshirt is just a black shirt with pearlised buttons and long sleeves

BUT I don't like my batwings so want to cover my upper arms

id rather wear a t shirt, ncie jeans and heels to be honest if thats all i had

RTKangaMummy · 29/06/2007 15:39

no cos DH has the car then when comes home we are going

And I live in middle of nowhere ie no public transport or within walking distance

I would like you guys to be honest with me cos I know you probably are thinking waht the women there will be thinking

It is really easy for the men cos they can turn up in anything from chinos/jeans/shorts Tshirts/casual shirts/shirt & tie

Depending who they are iyswim

But the women it is more difficult

No that is what I have on order specially for this afternoon

I ordered some skirts and new tops - loads of them, so I could have a little fashion show to myself and now it is ruined

OP posts:
nailpolish · 29/06/2007 15:43

i would go to Tesco or anywhere convenient on the way and get changed in the car

do you ahve any nice jenas? and a plain pink t shirt? and wedges or sandals?

(wedges are good for gardne parties - heels dont sink into graass)

nailpolish · 29/06/2007 15:43

id rather be late cos i s topped for someting to wear than wear black!!

even navy trousers and white or pink t shirt is better than black head to toe

but you must weear wedges or heels

not flats or you will look like you have come straight from work

lovely bag and chunky jewellery
