Oh, and I'm scared of make up counters. And I'm on a budget (sort of)..
Normally I use BB creams and have found a couple I really like, but they're only really good for work and weekends.
I want something that gives very good coverage, that will give me a warm tone, for nights out/more special occasions..

I'm 34 but my skin is quite good still.. I have a burst blood vessel which I've had since a kid, which covers up well with concealer, but after a couple of hours reappears... I've also got bags under my eyes which aren't too bad but are still quite visible. I also have some spot scars 😰 the general condition of my skin is good though.

Im a bit nervous about approaching make up counters, And generally not great with make up. Can anyone help? Thank you

Oh I should add that sometimes my skin "freaks out" especially if I try something new, my skin goes red, tight and sore.. generally speaking I think I have sensitive skin..

"Make up forever" brand, ultra HD foundation stick - it's like a roll up stick that you can smear on your face and then use a brush to really apply it all over properly. Can be found at debenhams / online :)

I have sensitive skin and use it daily.

If you have sensitive skin I'd go for a mineral foundation and a concealer with decent coverage. Try LilyLolo or Baremjnerals for foundation. For concealers, I quite like the Too Faced Born This Way and Dior Undercover which work quite well for any area of the face.

Do not be tempted to pick a foundation with a warmer tone. It's easier to get away with this when using a light coverage product like BB cream, but the heavier the coverage the more obvious it will be that it doesn't match your skintone. Foundation should even out your skintone, so you should match it to your neck. If you need a bit of colour, use some subtle blush and bronzer.
