Mascara - tried 100's, not stuck with 1??

I am constantly on the chase for a good mascara, I have tried 100's and change brand / type every time.

Any recommendations for a good day to day mascara that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Collection lash surge! About £4 from boots and honestly the best I’ve tried out of several (including Lancôme, Clinique, Max Factor...)

Too faced better than sex. Amazing.

Eyeko black magic or Ciate wonderland. I have stumpy blonde lashes and these both make them look amazing. Laura Geller is also a good bet.

Diorshow by Dior is my all time favourite but Primark’s gold-packaged one (cheap as chips!) is a close second.

Do you have a recurring theme where they aren't working for you?

E.g. I have very oily lids and have to use waterproof otherwise my lashes won't curl and the mascara won't stay on all day.

Benefit Rollerlash, if I can't afford that then Maybelline Falsies.

Ester Lauder Extreme Sumptuous is amazing in both normal and waterproof. First couple of uses make sure brush wiped down a bit as is a bit wet but is by far the most effective mascara I've ever found (and I've tried sooooo many!)

eyeko black magic is the best mascara ive ever tried, but I also quite like 2000calorie when im on a budget

Benefit They’re Real for me, I do find that it can go clumpy but I try to do 2 or 3 very thin coats and wait until the previous coat has dried before applying the next one.

I have a freebie Benefit Bad Gal Bang but haven’t tried that yet.

Lancome Doll Eyes Waterproof is better than Benefit's They're Real. Honest!

Max factor 2000 calorie is v good

I used the WP version of the L'Oréal lash paradise extatic (a dupe for the top faced better than sex mascara).

Love the doll eyes from Lancôme too but it dries up far quicker.

Benefit roller lash is my fav, not keen on They're real. To thick and clumpy for me.

BUT I do live They're real lash primer. Great stuff!

It's not that none of them work for me, I've just not found one that "is the one" and I want to stick with...

Lancôme Monsieur Big is the best waterproof mascara I've ever used. I did a school run in torrential rain, where the rain was so heavy I lost a contact lens (no exaggeration) and when I got home, I was a total state, apart from my mascara, which was perfect 😂

Maybelline lash sensational. Only mascara I've ever rebought.

I often bang a gong for cheapie ones especially as you are supposed to chuck them after 3 months but... I recently refound my Lancome Hypnose waterproof which has a very good brush and gives me lots of full lashes. I don't get that so much with the cheapies and at the end of the day my eyes can be sore.

Otherwise I use Boots, Maybelline, Wilco's Essence, Revlon etc. The problem have is that many waterproof ones start out very dry anyway.

I've tried loads, incl benefit, eyeko, chanel etc plus some korean ones. I've recently found one I really love. The waterproof version of Two Faced: Better Than Sex.

Eyeco sports waterproof for staying power, Hourglass for glam.

And Boots No 7 stay perfect (the gold tube) mascara for the everyday natural.
