Is there a perm that just gives body and a messy wave sort of thing??

I have shoulder length hair with a side parting and I want it to look like the pic - i dry it flattish with a hairdryer but have neither the time nor skill to do the gentle volume curls you can get with straighteners - I want a permanent solution with zero maintenance

Have a look at demi wave or body wave perms. I’ve seen some that look really good but it depends on the stylist.

That pic looks like me hair when I wash and leave it to dry naturally. We always wish for what we don't have. I've always wished for natural straight hair!
