Now before I get flamed for this. I used to work in retail as a student so know how horrible it can be, and I’m sure things are worse now than they used to be.
What I can’t understand, is why some shop assistants seem to be so snooty.
I’ve had looks like I was something the cats had brought in. As in “you can’t afford to shop here”; well nor can you probably if you’re working here. I went to Hugo Boss and one chap looked down at me and the other gave a half arsed “Can I help you Madam?”
I’ve noticed it’s only certain shops do this, Reiss have never. All saints sometimes. I don’t dress immaculately but usually fairly smart, and I’m well spoken.
