Just had my first St Tropez tan, and am sat at the computer looking like I have been dipped in marmite!!!!

No it's fine but they say not to shower until tommorrow , i had to put an old sheet on the bed as some of it rubbed off, hope you haven't got to go anywhere today ?

they may not recognise you , you should probably ring and warn them you look a little 'orange'

I look like I have rolled in mud, my face looks really dark and I am really tempted to wash it off!!

I had it done for the first time the day before a wedding and I will never do it again!

In fairness I think the idiot that did it was training and I was clueless to intervene when she picked a really dark colour for my very pale skin. I had to stand in a star stance for half an hour after and then rang dp to park right outside the salon door. In the proper daylight I looked like an oompaloompa. I was assured it would calm down by the morning and after the first shower - crap!

I scrubbed like a lunatic for hours the following morning but with time running out I had to bite the bullet and attend the wedding. The pictures are outrageous!

Oh dear abroller - the girl was very knowledgable and I told her that I wanted it quite pale, so she mixed it with alot of mosturiser, it is only on my face that it looks really dark!!

Oh I was thinking about having this done as it doesnt look like we are going to see an real sun. I was fretting about coming out with the "youve been tangoed" look - you have now put me off completely LOL

Thee colour on my body is fab, it is just my face. It is because I am naturally very pale with dark hair!!

well in fairness it does calm down a lot. I was just so mad that she knew I was having it done for the first time and went crazy with a really dark colour.

You place sounds like they know what they're taking about so I wouldn't worry too much. If you go washing it now you'll ruin it.

Just to let any interested ladies know that the tan is gorgeous this morning, not too dark just looks like I have been in the sun for a week. Really pleased!!!!
