i hate them. they poke people are horrible and soggy when used and always break unless they are super heavy.

get a nice mac instead. or a proper lovely posh one which doesn't go into bag

WaynettaSlob · 27/06/2007 08:42

Okay, so you probably wanted more info than that, but I couldn't resist.
I have had the same one for about 2 years - it's one of those micro ones and I got it in either John Lewis or Boots. It's a Fulton one, and JL have loads ta-dah!

I've got a proper lovely posh one. And a cheapy elle one for when I go to legoland, and don't want to leave the posh one with the buggy. The cheapy one seems ok, cost me £5 out of matalan. But the posh one is lovely. It's a radley walker one.

DS1 has a BobtheBuilder one which is see-through, and I am v.jealous cos I always wanted one!

I have three categories of umbrella:

Handbag ones
A Really nice (walking-sticky) polkadot one for work
A sort of parasol-style one for weddings

Cod - you really need to sort yourself out!

Doesn't Johnnie do one?

WaynettaSlob · 27/06/2007 08:53

(BTW Cod - there isn't a single typo in the thread title - must be a first!)

fishie · 27/06/2007 08:54

wow

umbrellas break however good they are

buy cheap one

or use one free with magazine

chopster · 27/06/2007 09:45

I lvoe the mauve flowers one on fishie's link. Don't liek the cath kidson, or the twighlight ones. Twighlight look a bit discoish!
