Nude lipstick Cool Undertones

Dear beauty experts

I am looking for a nude lipstick for my pale skin with blue undertones. Dark hair and thin dry lips here.

I would like something very subtle and my lips are not pale, so looking for a natural nude on the pink side but not bright pink.

I would like something that doesn't dry them out as they are so dry all the time and I don't mind paying a bit more than I usually do as this would be the only lipstick I will have now (getting rid of 20 lipsticks that will never suit me)

I have done so much googling but all the recommendations I found are based on skin colour, not undertones 😫

Thank you, please don't let me look like a zombie in 2019

Coral suits my cool skin tone - giving it warmth but unfortunately it does the same for my teeth, making them appear more yellow - it's a fine balance.

@Sarcelle what is MLBB? Blush

Oh yes, the teeth. I think plum/ raspberry make my teeth look better

@planespotting - my lips but better

I am loving glossier lipsticks just now. They give that ‘just bitten’ look to lips and look like a stain but feel like a balm www.glossier.com/products/generation-g

planespotting · 30/12/2018 09:13

Ohhh ShockShock
Thank you! That is exactly what I want!
Well, I would love different lips but that is another thread Grin

I am wearing crush a lot just now. It can be layered for a more intense look but I love them.

I'm a similar colouring to you and my best lipsticks are; Bobbi Brown sandwash pink, mac patisserie and Chanel Legende. Anything too warm or brown looks terrible on me, but these all work well.

planespotting · 01/01/2019 09:14

Just ordered Mac patisserie and Plumful Blush
These are Mehr to the left and Teddy on the right
I think that my lips are naturally quite dark so I need more pink than brown or I look dead

Sorry it doesn't let me upload the pic, I will do it later

Look at the Luk range. Best lipsticks I've ever owned.

planespotting · 01/01/2019 11:38

Ohhhh Luk
Ok thank you!
This Mac velvet is drying my lips as we speak 😫

planespotting · 01/01/2019 11:39

I second Mac Modesty, I have similar colouring to you OP (also Mehr suits me really well but Velvet Teddy doesn't).

Modesty is a lovely pink based nude.

planespotting · 01/01/2019 11:44

Ohhh! Thanks @Sakura7 !

Haven't tried these becca ones reviewed by Really Ree but they are divided into cool/warm and neutral tones - might be helpful
