Super skinny jeans that actually suck in my middle rather than highlight it??

Desperately need some recommendations for skinny jeans that:

  • are proper skinny to the ankle (no saggy knees or baggy ankles)
  • suck in my belly which is where I carry my weight with a nice shelf after two massive babies and c sections
  • are not high waisted as this merely highlights the HGV tyre that is my lower midriff
  • are not low waisted for reasons above
  • are not Topshop Jamie or Joni (too heavy and too high waisted respectively)

Do these jeans actually exist? Oh and I'm a size 12/14 with comparatively slim legs (hence need for super skinny) if that is relevant.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations. Thanks

The only skinny jeans I get on with these days are Next lift, slim and shape. I don’t even bother with any others anymore.

persist · 26/12/2018 20:58

Thanks. Are they a heavy denim?

M & S super skinnies - they do a mid and high waist version. They're not heavy denim.

Fatted · 26/12/2018 21:29

Next lift, slim and shape for me as well. They are stretchy, so don't sag in the knees, but are a nice thick denim.

AgathaF · 26/12/2018 21:31

Next 365. Never, ever go baggy and great sucking in of stomach powers.

Smellyrose · 26/12/2018 21:38

The Next jeans for me, too. Keep their shape really well.

persist · 26/12/2018 21:43

Argh see I don't want anything too heavy...I feel quite claustrophobic in thick denim. I also find I overheat quite easily if my jeans are heavy Hmm

I have a similar figure to you (also have a MASSIVE baby and had a c section ) and had success recently with gap skinnies called 'denim leggings') I got them reduced in the sale in the outlet about 2 weeks ago tho so I think they are last year's stock. Can't find them on gap online, went back to my local gap outlet and bought another pair

Worth a try if you're near a gap outlet

Following as I feel my jeans are all enhancing my stomach! Blush

Sainsbury’s skinny jeans are great- they’re light but hard wearing and suck you in. But if you’re looking for proper suck-in powers you’ll need a thick denim to act as a girdle. Diesel do this excellently. But I have all Sainsbury’s jeans in every colour and style and they’re great. Skinny is the style name.

I buy the George at Add a 4 way fit skinny jeans, high wasted and they stay up and keep everything in all day. they are the only jeans I wear now £25 I think they was and really comfy

Another vote for next lift, slim and shape. They are super sucky.

However they’ve now also started doing a ‘sculpt jegging’ which is much the same clever cut, vastly cheaper and the fabric is slightly thinner but still sucks wobbles in. No fly or zip though they are pull on, which I prefer for a smooth line.

LoniceraJaponica · 26/12/2018 23:25

Another vote for M and S super skinny. I prefer high waisted as they cut into my widest part if they are mid or low rise.

SilentShadows · 26/12/2018 23:42

I love the M&Co front fly jeggings

LoniceraJaponica · 26/12/2018 23:56

I have just looked at the M and Co site and seen those jeggings. They only come in a 29" inside leg length. It says that the model is 5'10". The jeggings look long on her so I think they are telling porkies.

BlueSatsuma · 27/12/2018 00:16

Following who the interest! Also 2 x c section babies here!

I must have soft jeans, I cannot bear the thought of thick denim. Makes me want to faint.

I’ve ordered a pair of denim jeggings from Luxury Legs, Hue is the brand, they’re mean to to be good but I’ll most likely be disappointed again!

persist · 27/12/2018 10:41

@mummysheepy I actually have a pair of RI Amelie jeans which I like but am currently too fat for. Might try the Molly.

I've also seen the Next jeggings referred to upthread (thank you) but they're out of stock 🙄 Will try and hunt a pair down as they do look good.

Re Primark jeans - I always find they smell weird HmmConfused
