would you buy the same top as somebody you work with?

Saw someone at work with distinctive top which looked really nice (green knitted polo shirt with cables and little pocket, white trim) - just the kind of thing I like. Go into Whistles, see same top discounted 50%! Would you buy it? I didn't but regretted it a bit.

well, having accidentally worn the same Boden top as my manager, I do feel a bit weird wearing the same top as somebody else - kind of hard to avoid unless you know them really well and can co-ordinate!

Hello Florence!!! I have a top which is the same as the person I sit with! Inevitably, we both wear it on the same days sometimes, and just joke about the "uniform". I would buy it. If you buy your clothes in high st shops, you can hardly claim the monopoly on them.

I have to admit have been put off boden after seeing 3 women wearing the same spotty top at the local fair. But i might just have to go back for the top - funny as I'd joked with her about the perils of buying Whistles full price and then the sale started a few days ago...

It depends on how fussy you are. I once gave away a pair of shoes because someone in the office had the same pair in a different colour.
