Will a salon repair a day-old gel nail if my nail has split?

As the title suggests, got gel fingernails done yesterday (a rare treat for Christmas) and somehow one of my nails has started to split across near the tip and the gel is starting to lift up is the salon likely to repair this for free?

I should certainly hope so. When I've had my nails done in the past I went back when one of them came off after a couple of days and they repaired it for free
