Trainers or comfy shoes

I HATE shoes and would go barefoot all the time if I could. However, as I am no longer a free and easy hippy-type I must wear shoes! Having bought many pairs over the years, I am yet to find a pair that I find comfortable enough to be on my feet in all day. I haven't worn a pair of trainers since wearing hi-tops with tight black jeans I was in 6th form!

SO I really need a rec for trainers or comfy shoes that I will be able to walk around in all day and that won't make me look like mutton or an idiot. Just to wear with jeans for shopping, family walks etc.

Many many thanks, ladies.

you needcampers pricey, but worth it

Don't get on with Birkies. Couldn't stand Crocs I'm afraid. Are Converse REALLY comfortable? Are they a bit teenagey? Am 37.

The Campers are lovely but ouch at the prices. Anything similar for half the price?

Converse are fab.
Go for the low top if you don't want to look too 'teenagey'
Like these
Warning though. If you have wide feet they will realy hurt until they wear in properly.
